English Bedded Lamb

This delicious meal is what my Irish ancestors fed my English ancestors the day after having the leg of lamb recipe below, which is probably why I have both Irish and English blood in my veins.
4 c diced Irish Leg O’ Lamb
11 ½ oz can vegetable juice
8 oz button mushrooms
8 oz fettuccine
1 small onion
1 bell pepper
2 stalks celery
2 Tbl olive oil
½ tsp dried crushed basil
½ tsp garlic salt
Cook fettuccine as per package instructions. Dice all vegetables. Sauté onion and mushrooms until clear then add lamb, bell pepper, celery, garlic salt, basil and vegetable juice. Bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer for 10 minutes and serve over fettuccine.
Serves 4.
